No, the disks and plates are the same size, 8". My problem is dropping the disk onto the plate EXACTLY in the center. If I'm off 1/16", the thing spins crooked and walks around like an old washing machine. Having said that, I guess I need to find a way to put exactly a 0.500" exactly round hole exactly in the middle of the paper disk, so that the disk and the plate will line up on the arbor and I can press the two together.
How does everyone do that?
