You have NO idea what you are talking about! Rick NEVER tried to take all the credit for keeping the Ray Mine open-it was a large group of concerned collectors banding together who accomplished that. How many of the meeting with the Forest Service did you attend? I was at ALL of them! I took the days off from work and drove over 100 miles for each and every meeting held. I was NOT the only one who did that, others also put forth a lot of effort. Do not condemn something you are not knowledgeable about and you were not involved with. Those face to face meetings that were held were open to ANYONE who wished to attend, but sadly some were too prideful to be part of that group! You are entitled to your opinion of someone, but try to base it on FACTS! Unsupported rumors and back biting are not indicative of a person's real character. Yeah, I AM part of that core group of MAGMA, and damn proud of it. I have known Rick for YEARS and he is a very giving and not at all prideful person.
