Re: Where to find Peridot?

There is free BLM spots West of El Paso in New Mexico. The best one is along the Columbus Highway. There are several Marrs volcanos. The most famous one is Kilbourne Hole in which I have found very little peridot. This was usually after some rains exposed some. The best one is right on the Mexico/New Mexico border. You can pick up your daily limit there pretty easy. The Deming Rock show usually has a field trip there with their show in March. Facetable material will be small.
