When it comes to Spencer Opal. I would go to the mine first and see what it really looks like in the rough. As that opal is pretty localized as stated, however, common opal is found throughout all western states. In my opinion, if you want to know what [Spencer opal]really looks like. The miners will always give you the best information you can get anywere. Esp when it comes to localized types of what we generally think is common when it actaully is not. As its mined for its fire, not common opal.
