Now that you have made a change to the way you are coming I will tell of another area to check out. About 50 miles East of Oklahoma City on I-40 is Hiway 56. Go North or South of I-40 and check roads that have been covered with local gravel. It comes from local quarries and you can find small chucks of Petrified Wood, and Boley Conglomerate Agate. I have not been there for several years but first road South of I-40 turn West. Payment is about 1/2 miles then turns to gravel. Check road and bar ditches. The same thing North of I-40 you go stright and not take pavied road on Northeast. You should again find gravel road going West. Wish you the best in all you hunting. Geo.
