Mike,

Kelso is just off I-5 with the Red Lion Inn on the eastside just off the interstate. I will look the info on this years program. The topic is the American Southwest. The talks are good for every level of collector and are well illustrated. One of the more entertaining speakers we have had was Rock Currier. Saturday evening I had several friends in my room looking st programs on my digital projector. Rock stopped by and the night becane very long as he entertained us with his stories of worldwide collecting. Our speakers have been a who's who of the mineral world, both professionals and well known members of the collecting fraternity.

I will send you a private message with the registration info and the address to sent it to.

A number of us usually have our scopes with us at the symposium. Some of the room dealers are field collectors so you get a chance to obtain material not normally carried by mainstream dealers.

If you get hooked on the micro world, there are a couple of places just north of Crater Lake National Park that are very good collecting. Diamond Lake has a great campground to use when in that area.
