I wish I could remember where (website) i read that the color change process can be accomplished in your kitchen oven. If my memory serves me, it was accomplished using 450 degrees for one hour and season to taste. Just kidding, I'm sure it was 450 degrees though. If I remember what webpage I will let you know. Tigereye can be color changed to red. That is if you believe what you read. I have never tried it. If you do try it I'm thinking that you would want to place the tigereye in the cold oven and let it come up to temp with the oven and the same in reverse. If it works let us all know.
