I did try to get a sample of the Bond Optic but it was a no go. I won't spend that much for something that I have no idea if it will work or not.
I made my own vacuum chambers as a need for another project. I got a hand vacuum pump from Harbor Freight (Brake Bleeder Vacuum Pump) when they were on sale. For the chambers I used good canning jars with a very small hose fitting soldered to the cover and a good valve. Attach hose to pump and cover and pump away! I can pull a vacuum of
25+" with no sweat and that's good for just about anything. Use the smallest jar possible consistent with the size of your project. Always test your chambers after making them to insure that they will hold a good vacuum for at least a couple days.
I don't like using heat cause I can never seem to get it right and heat accelerates the process too much for me.
