Re: Stabilizing veined quartz slab?

TC
I received some info a time back about a new product called "Bond-Optic" which has a very low viscosity, does not yellow, takes a loooong time to cure (as much as a week) once mixed and is harder to take a good polish. I haven't tried it because of cost $40.00 I think an 8oz bottle. This would be really ideal, you could mix it, place your stone in it and place in a vacuum for a few days to insure good penetration. Do a Google search for Bond Optic and you should come up with the address etc. I am curious about this stuff and would like to see the results from an actual trial rather than the sellers sales pitch. I think I asked about it here a time ago but got no responses.
